The FDU93 ultrasonic sensor is suitable for continuous, non-contact level measurement of liquids, pastes, sludge, powders and coarse bulk solids, is maintenance-free, and can also be used for flow measurement in open channels and weirs. The measured values are unaffected by dielectric constant, density or humidity, and the self-cleaning function of the sensor eliminates the influence of medium adhesion on the measurement. Suitable for hazardous areas; maximum measuring range: liquids 25 m (85 ft), solids 15 m (50 ft).
