Field of application
The FLOWSIC300 ultrasonic flow sensor is characterized by the combination of high-quality components, a large measuring range, easy installation and low maintenance costs. It is suitable for any area not requiring mandatory verification: for example internal measurement in natural gas networks and process measurement in the petrochemical industry. The FLOWSIC300 is based on the reliable quality gas meter components that SICK manufactures for legal metrology, and combines them into a low-cost flowmeter suitable for various applications. The measuring transmitter located 15 m from the measuring point offers high flexibility during installation and enables continuous self-checking. The ultrasonic measuring principle causes no pressure loss, has no moving parts and is resistant to fluctuations and pressure regulator interference, making it ideally suited for reliable and virtually deviation-free operation.
