Municipal Wastewater Treatment · Flow Meter Accessories — Stock Configuration Case
Site Conditions
This is a Municipal Wastewater Treatment customer whose plant is at the inlet, biological and outlet stages of a municipal plant. The main task was completing flow meters with electrodes, liners, seals and mounting kits.
The Problem
The difficulty lies in high solids and corrosive fractions, with large diurnal flow swings; at the same time effluent parameters drift and probes foul with sludge and biofilm. Specification therefore means matching electrode material, liner type and pressure rating against the original model.
What We Did
We took a stock channel approach — configuring from stock and delivered quickly. Delivery was built around matching electrode material, liner type and pressure rating against the original model, with point-by-point checks on: stable compliance with Grade 1A discharge limits and online data reporting.
Operating Outcome
In service the system performs as intended — restoring metering quickly instead of replacing whole instruments, with routine maintenance falling noticeably.
Municipal Wastewater Treatment · Analyzer Accessories — Stock Configuration Case
Project Overview
The site is the inlet, biological and outlet stages of a municipal plant. The customer wanted Analyzer Accessories properly configured on the existing plant, with the aim of supplying electrodes, flow cells, tubing and calibration consumables for analysers.
Technical Challenges
What actually causes trouble is high solids and corrosive fractions, with large diurnal flow swings, and effluent parameters drift and probes foul with sludge and biofilm. All of this means the Analyzer Accessories configuration has to involve selected per measuring principle and range, never mixing principles.
Configuration
Supply and installation were organised through the stock channel: configuring from stock and delivered quickly. On site this meant selected per measuring principle and range, never mixing principles, checked line by line against: stable compliance with Grade 1A discharge limits and online data reporting.
Performance
After commissioning the outcome is restoring original calibration intervals and data comparability, and the readings are now used for process tuning.
Municipal Wastewater Treatment · Online Analyzer Accessories — Stock Configuration Case
Project Background
The project covers the inlet, biological and outlet stages of a municipal plant. The work centres on Online Analyzer Accessories and the core task is completing online analysers with sampling, conditioning and flow-path parts.
Operating Challenges
The medium and duty are characterised by high solids and corrosive fractions, with large diurnal flow swings, and effluent parameters drift and probes foul with sludge and biofilm. So Online Analyzer Accessories cannot be specified generically — it calls for sizing conditioning stages to sample temperature, pressure and solids.
Solution
The Ainstru engineering team worked through the stock channel: configuring from stock and delivered quickly. The configuration involves sizing conditioning stages to sample temperature, pressure and solids, with these requirements in view: stable compliance with Grade 1A discharge limits and online data reporting.
Results
Since start-up the system has run steadily; the practical result is better sample representativeness and higher online availability.
Municipal Wastewater Treatment · Ultrasonic level meter — Stock Configuration Case
Customer Profile
The typical setting in Municipal Wastewater Treatment is the inlet, biological and outlet stages of a municipal plant. The measuring point is Ultrasonic level meter; the focus is non-contact continuous level measurement in tanks and sumps.
Key Difficulties
Conditions are high solids and corrosive fractions, with large diurnal flow swings and, on top of that, effluent parameters drift and probes foul with sludge and biofilm, which a standard configuration cannot handle for long. The design therefore starts with checking how vapour, foam and agitation affect the acoustic echo.
Implementation
The scope ran through the stock channel: configuring from stock and delivered quickly. Technically it hinges on checking how vapour, foam and agitation affect the acoustic echo, and on these requirements: stable compliance with Grade 1A discharge limits and online data reporting.
Customer Benefit
In practice this means no fouling because nothing touches the medium, so maintenance stays low, which cut the workload on the site maintenance team.
