SEKO MS1 series digital diaphragm dosing pump with digital display, 4-20 mA analogue input/output and pulse control. Liquid end in PVC / PVDF / SS316L with PTFE diaphragm, EPDM or FPM seals and ceramic valve balls — for accurate dosing in water treatment, pools and industrial circulating water.

SEKO MS1 series digital diaphragm dosing pumps

The MS1 series is microprocessor controlled with a digital display, and accepts a 4-20 mA analogue signal or pulse input from external instruments, enabling flow-proportional or residual-chlorine / pH feedback dosing.

Key features

  • Digital display with keypad adjustment, adjustable stroke frequency
  • 4-20 mA analogue input/output and pulse control
  • Wetted materials: PVC / PVDF / SS316L head, PTFE diaphragm, EPDM or FPM seals, ceramic valve balls
  • Flowmeter and level switch inputs available for empty-drum protection

Typical applications: pool and landscape water treatment, industrial cooling and circulating water dosing, drinking water and wastewater disinfection.

Municipal Wastewater Treatment

Municipal Wastewater Treatment · SPRING ELEKTRE — Application Case

Site Conditions

This is a Municipal Wastewater Treatment customer whose plant is at the inlet, biological and outlet stages of a municipal plant. The main task was digitally controlled motor-driven dosing with SPRING ELEKTRE.

The Problem

The difficulty lies in high solids and corrosive fractions, with large diurnal flow swings; at the same time effluent parameters drift and probes foul with sludge and biofilm. Specification therefore means selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface.

What We Did

We took a digital diaphragm series approach — selecting for digital regulation and remote control. Delivery was built around selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface, with point-by-point checks on: stable compliance with Grade 1A discharge limits and online data reporting.

Operating Outcome

In service the system performs as intended — smooth, pulse-free continuous dosing for a steadier process, with routine maintenance falling noticeably.

Food & Beverage

Food & Beverage · SPRING ELEKTRE — Application Case

Application Context

dosing, pasteurising, filling and CIP stages is a typical Food & Beverage duty. The project started from SPRING ELEKTRE, focusing on digitally controlled motor-driven dosing with SPRING ELEKTRE.

Process Constraints

frequent cleaning demands instruments that withstand hot CIP/SIP caustic cycles, and syrups, dairy and beverages that scale easily, under strict hygienic requirements only amplify it. The SPRING ELEKTRE specification must therefore cover selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface.

Delivery Approach

Delivery was handled as the digital diaphragm series — selecting for digital regulation and remote control. Execution centred on selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface, together with food-safety and hygienic design per 3-A / EHEDG.

Field Results

Operation shows the benefit clearly — smooth, pulse-free continuous dosing for a steadier process, with confidence in this measuring point improving markedly.

Chemical & Pharmaceutical

Chemical & Pharmaceutical · SPRING ELEKTRE — Application Case

Customer Profile

The typical setting in Chemical & Pharmaceutical is reactors, metering vessels and finished-product tanks. The measuring point is SPRING ELEKTRE; the focus is digitally controlled motor-driven dosing with SPRING ELEKTRE.

Key Difficulties

Conditions are highly corrosive media with solvents and crystallisation, partly in explosive atmospheres and, on top of that, corrosion plus Ex protection shortens instrument life and makes downtime costly, which a standard configuration cannot handle for long. The design therefore starts with selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface.

Implementation

The scope ran through the digital diaphragm series: selecting for digital regulation and remote control. Technically it hinges on selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface, and on these requirements: Ex certification and GMP traceability of records.

Customer Benefit

In practice this means smooth, pulse-free continuous dosing for a steadier process, which cut the workload on the site maintenance team.

Power & Energy

Power & Energy · SPRING ELEKTRE — Application Case

Project Background

The project covers boiler feedwater, turbine condensate and FGD/DeNOx systems. The work centres on SPRING ELEKTRE and the core task is digitally controlled motor-driven dosing with SPRING ELEKTRE.

Operating Challenges

The medium and duty are characterised by high temperature and pressure with both steam and saline water, and drift under high temperature and pressure, with very costly unplanned outages. So SPRING ELEKTRE cannot be specified generically — it calls for selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface.

Solution

The Ainstru engineering team worked through the digital diaphragm series: selecting for digital regulation and remote control. The configuration involves selected by motor speed control, flow range and signal interface, with these requirements in view: compliance with power-industry codes and unit availability targets.

Results

Since start-up the system has run steadily; the practical result is smooth, pulse-free continuous dosing for a steadier process.
