Operation DIP switch

The NAMUR signal amplifier ensures safe switching of proximity switches complying with EN 60947-5-6 (NAMUR), normally open contacts with resistive coupling elements and mechanical contact switches. It is connected to a universal power supply (24...230 V AC/DC), with one relay output (changeover contact) per channel. The device is intrinsically safe (Ex i) certified and can be used in Zone 0 (gas) and Zone 20 (dust) explosion-protected areas. The RLN42 can be connected in series in SIL 2 safety instrumented systems (complying with IEC 61508).
