Application areas
Without a memory card, the Fieldgate SFG500 acts as a plant access interface, equivalent to an Ethernet gateway with adaptive PROFIBUS master class 2 functionality for supporting FDT-based plant asset management systems such as FieldCare.
With a plug-in memory card, device diagnostic information including the cause of the fault, the remedy and the process measured values of PROFIBUS and HART devices are displayed in the built-in web browser.
