The Cerabar PMC71 digital pressure transmitter uses an oil-free capacitive ceramic measuring cell and is mainly used in the process industry and the hygiene sector to measure the pressure, level, volume and mass of liquids and gases. The PMC71 uses a vacuum-resistant ceramic diaphragm to ensure a highly safe measuring system. The measuring range is adjustable and the quick setup function simplifies commissioning, saving cost and time. The design complies with IEC 61508 and meets SIL2/3 functional safety requirements.
Advantages
Overload protection——high-precision ceramic sensor (99.9% Al2O3); ideal for vacuum, corrosive and abrasive media
HistoROM®/M-DAT memory unit enables traceability of device settings and measured values
IEC 61508 certified by TÜV SÜD, suitable for SIL2/SIL3 functional safety process pressure monitoring (min.…max.…range)
Comprehensive function monitoring from the measuring diaphragm to the electronics
Quick setup menu for fast setting of basic commissioning parameters, menu-guided operation with advanced fault diagnostics
Hermetically sealed feedthrough provides a standard second line of defense
Optional manifold: also pressure-tested
Areas of application
Dual-compartment aluminum or stainless steel (316L) housing
Process connections: from 1.5" thread, flange, clamp or hygienic process connection
Temperature range: -40 to +150°C (-40 to +302°F)
Pressure range: +100mbar to +40bar (+1.5 to +600psi)
Accuracy range: ±0.05%, "platinum version" ±0.025%
International explosion protection approval, WHG overflow protection, SIL, hygienic approval, marine approval
