The RH33 BTU meter is suitable for metering liquid energy carriers and calculates the thermal energy of water, water/glycol mixtures or other liquids such as thermal oil according to EN1434. Temperature sensor matching is carried out in the device using calibrated temperature sensors. Existing software is used to save costs. The device is approved for custody transfer and allows bidirectional measurement, for example the charging/discharging of a heat accumulator.
Advantages
Transparent energy consumption helps save energy costs
Calibrated, electronically paired temperature sensors ensure the highest accuracy; temperature sensors of approved devices can be replaced on site (without re-approval)
The tariff calculator meets billing requirements
Detailed data log recording current values and counter values, error messages, and inhibit conditions and changes of operating parameters
The standard mode connects and serves all common volume flow transmitters and temperature measuring points
Values can be read remotely via Ethernet and fieldbus
Reliability and accuracy verified and certified
Areas of application
For custody transfer of heat changes in the following circuits:
Heating circuits
Cooling circuits
Combined heating and cooling circuits
Typical applications in industry, long-distance heating networks and building automation.
