Micropilot FMR60 is the first 80 GHz radar designed in accordance with the IEC 61508 international functional safety standard. The non-contact radar uses a droplet antenna, improved algorithms and a small beam angle for maximum reliability. It enables non-contact continuous level measurement of liquids, pastes and sludge. The measurement result is unaffected by changes in the medium, temperature fluctuations, gas phase layer or vapor. In addition, it is equipped with Heartbeat Technology intelligent sensor functions.

Application
The 80 GHz droplet antenna can measure in free space with a maximum range of 50 m, has a highly focused beam angle and is suitable for applications with multiple obstructions in the vessel.
