The electronic differential pressure transmitter Deltabar FMD71 is a differential pressure system consisting of two sensors and one transmitter, used for level, volume or mass measurement of liquids in pressurized tanks or distillation columns/evaporators. One sensor measures the static pressure (high pressure) and the other measures the top pressure (low pressure). Based on these two digital pressure values, the transmitter calculates the level value (electronic differential pressure). The electronic differential pressure measuring system eliminates the problems that occur with conventional differential pressure measurement.

Advantages

The dry Ceraphire measuring cell is fully resistant to vacuum, corrosion and abrasion

Eliminates conventional mechanical problems, providing higher process suitability and reliability

The new electronic differential pressure system structure and design minimize safety risks

Minimized operating costs thanks to reduced installation, maintenance and downtime and lower spare part requirements

Multivariable level measurement: based on HART communication, measures differential pressure, top pressure and sensor temperature of the same system

Continuously indicates the health of the entire system via HART diagnostics

High repeatability and long-term stability

Areas of application

For level, volume or mass measurement of liquids in pressurized tanks or distillation columns/evaporators.

Process connections: thread, flange, flush-mounted hygienic connections

Temperature: –25...+150°C (–13...+302°F), optional 350°C (662°F)

Measuring range: 100mbar...40bar (1.5...600psi)

Measurement accuracy: up to ±0.05% for a single sensor, up to ±0.07% for the system

International explosion protection and hygienic approvals
